Super Bowl Sunday

So tonight was the Super Bowl. I wanted something simple that would stand on it's own so I could watch the game/comercials and not be cooking the whole night. I found this recipe in my recipe box and it sounded perfect. So here is Hashbrown Ham Hotdish.

Hashbrown Ham Hotdish

32 oz hashbrowns - thawed
2 lbs ham - cut into cubes
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of potato soup
1/2 cup milk
8 oz sour cream
1 onion - diced (I only used 1/2 onion)
1 green pepper - diced
shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all ingrediants except cheese together. Put mixture into a greased 9x13 pan. Top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

VERDICT
The prep time for this one took a little more time than expected so be prepared for lots of chopping. Also, you must be patient as it takes a long time to cook so plan ahead. It does taste pretty good and was definately worth all the time it takes to make (added bonus is all the leftovers). I give it five out of seven spoons.

Oh this is going to be fun. I think both dishes and recipes look tasty and I'm anxious to try them. We'll have to give them rating also. Now if I can figure out how to send my comments.
