Tortilla Pinwheels

I made this recipe to take to work last week. I wanted something that didn't need to be reheated and was more of an appetizer than a dessert, and these seemed perfect.

Tortilla Pinwheels

Ingredients
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 (2oz) can chopped black olives

1 (4oz) can diced green chiles, drained

1 (4oz) can diced pimento peppers, drained

2 green onions, minced

3 Tablespoon hot sauce
(I used only 1 Tablespoon)
3 Tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
(I omitted)
10 (10inch) flour tortillas

Directions

Combine cream cheese, olives, chiles, pimentos, green onions, hot sauce and cilantro. Mix well.
Spread mixture onto tortillas and roll up. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Cut off ends of tortilla roll and slice every 1 inch. Serve and enjoy!

Amanda's Analysis:
John was gone when I made these so he won't be able to Jibba-Jabba about them. I found these to be delicious! They were super easy to prepare and made a great appetizer. I only used 1 Tablespoon of hot sauce and I thought it was plenty. If you wanted them spicier you could use all three Tablespoons. You could easily add or remove fillings to the recipe to suit your taste. I've also seen recipes that include turkey or ham. I made these for our weekly lab meeting, and they were all gone by the end of the meeting! I give these pinwheels 6 spoons.
